On September 28, Hebei People’s Government Governor Xu Qin presided over the preparatory work scheduling meeting of 2019 China International Digital Economy Expo. This is the scene of the meeting.
2019 China International Digital Economy Expo will be held in Shijiazhuang (Zhengding County) International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 11 to 13. Today, governor Xu Qin chaired a preparatory scheduling meeting. He stressed the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the development of digital economy, to set high points and make careful preparations, so as to form a high-level national level international digital economic exchange platform.
Digital economy is the accelerator to promote the quality change, efficiency change and dynamic change of economic development, and has become a new highland for the development of countries all over the world. In May this year, with the approval of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Hebei Provincial Government held an annual China International Digital Economy Expo, which is the only national level exhibition in the name of digital economy in China. With the theme of digital economy leading high-quality development, this digital Expo focuses on theme summit, comprehensive exhibition, digital economy theme salon of Zhengding night, smart Xiong’An summit forum, E-sports competition and project signing. More than 100 international important guests, nearly 20 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, and more than 150 leaders of enterprises will attend the meeting.
Xu Qin pointed out that general secretary Xi Jinping attached great importance to the development of digital economy. He stressed the importance of strengthening the digital economy, cultivating new kinetic energy with information, and promoting new development with new kinetic energy. The provincial Party committee and the provincial government conscientiously implement the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions, carefully plan and arrange the preparatory work for this year’s Expo. Wang Dongfeng, secretary of Hebei provincial Party committee, has studied and deployed several times, and the departments in various localities have organized and implemented them in a forceful and orderly manner. At present, the digital Expo has entered a critical stage of countdown. All preparatory departments and units should improve their political standing, further enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency to do a good job in the preparatory work, adhere to high standards and high quality, make scientific planning, increase efforts, and strive to build a domestic leading and international first-class digital economy exhibition, so as to gather wisdom, attract talents and prosper the industry by meeting talents. We should focus on key tasks, organize exhibitions, forums and other activities in a professional way, further improve the overall plan, special scheme and operation scheme, refine the safeguard measures, and intensify publicity. We should not only adhere to the principle of thrifty hosting the fair, but also provide warm and thoughtful services to ensure the level and impact of the digital Expo. In order to consolidate the responsibilities of all parties, the responsible units and persons should be clearly defined for each work, and close cooperation, coordination and linkage should be carried out to ensure the orderly and seamless connection of all links. We should strengthen the sense of opportunity, regard the development of digital economy as the breakthrough of transformation and upgrading, promote the resource link and practical cooperation between our province and scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, and leading enterprises at home and abroad, promote the landing of more projects, accelerate the digital industrialization and industrial digitization, and cultivate new economic growth points.
