At the press conference of 2019 China International Digital Economy Expo held by Hebei Provincial Government Information Office today, we have learned that 2019 China International Digital Economy Expo will be a top-level digital economy feast gathering elites and leading the future.
According to Hao Zhushan, a spokesman and deputy Secretary General of Hebei Provincial Government, 2019 China International Digital Economy Expo will be held in Shijiazhuang (Zhengding) International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 11 to 13. As the only national exhibition named after digital economy in China, this year's digital Expo takes “digital economy leads high quality development” as the theme, focusing on “one meeting, one exhibition, one salon, one experience, two competitions, three matchmaking, multi-forum and other activities”.
“One Meeting” is the opening ceremony and theme summit. At that time, nearly 200 international important guests from more than 20 countries and international organizations including Edward Prescott, winner of the Nobel Prize in economics, more than 20 academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, including Wu Hequan, Zhang Jun, Zheng Zhiming, Liao Xiangke and Shen Chang, over 150 industry leaders including Zhang Yong, chairman of the board and CEO of Alibaba, and Zhao Weiguo, chairman of Ziguang Group, Ding Lei, CEO of Netease, Dong Mingzhu, chairman of Gree Electric appliances, Zhou Hongyi, chairman of 360 group, Sun Pishu, chairman of Inspur Group, Liu Qingfeng, chairman of iFLYTEK, etc and more than 80 well-known experts will gather together to discuss digital economy.
“One exhibition” is a comprehensive exhibition. The comprehensive exhibition consists of five exhibition areas, namely, theme exhibition hall, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cooperation and digital economy exhibition hall, new generation information technology exhibition hall, intelligent manufacturing and intelligent society exhibition hall and outdoor exhibition area, covering an area of 50,000 square meters. More than 500 enterprises have confirmed their participation. 338 enterprises will participate in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cooperation and digital Hebei exhibition hall, and more than 200 enterprises have been organized in the exhibition area of 11 districts and Xiong’An New Area of Hebei Province. More than 100 big data “national team” outstanding products and application solutions are displayed in the excellent case exhibition area of big data of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
“One Salon” is a salon with the theme of “Night of Zhengding” digital economy. Through 3D holographic projection technology to restore history, the hero Zhao Yun of Yanzhao Land and Changshan battle drum are performed alternately under the application of digital technology, which fully reflects the sense of science and technology and the sense of future of Zhengding night. A group of industry celebrities will discuss the "Digital economy boosts Hebei's transformation and development" on the same stage, making Zhengding ancient city radiate the new charm of modern digital technology.
“One experience” refers to the automatic driving experience activity of intelligent Internet connected vehicles. Great Wall Motors uses the state-of-the-art perception, planning and decision-making technology based on 5G to demonstrate the self-developed automatic driving technology and 5G driverless vehicle, challenging many difficult automatic driving scenarios. Huawei held a road show of “Huawei 5G China Tour” to show Huawei’s latest 5G end-to-end solutions, 5G black technology and simple board operation and maintenance business model. China Unicom will show 5G “space time dream journey” full immersion VR experience car and 5G Mars Exploration Tour can be experienced, with the cloud network collaboration, you will feel to be personally on the scene and you can experience low delay and high speed 5G network, as well as the infinite scientific and technological charm brought by cloud real-time computing and rendering.
“Two competitions” are the WESCO and CUEL, and the cloud security common test competition of digital economy. In the early stage of WESCO, contestants from 10 countries including Brazil, Mexico, the United States, Nigeria, Australia and South Korea, have been selected to participate in the offline finals during the Expo. More than 900 colleges and universities will participate in the CUEL this season, and more than 100,000 people directly participate in the competition. During the Expo, the national finals are organized, and a total of 56 contestants from 12 universities will be selected to compete for the e-sports championship. In the cloud security total test competition, 20 teams will be selected from 416 teams to compete in the Expo.
“Three matchmaking” means three industrial matchmaking activities. Around the promotion of digital industrialization and industrial digitization, three industrial matchmaking activities, including the new generation information technology industry docking meeting, “China Digital Dam” matchmaking meeting and Hebei &Shenzhen industry matchmaking meeting will be held, and a number of major cooperation projects were signed around the development of 5G and new generation information technology. At the same time, free project negotiation areas are arranged at the exhibition site and conference area to provide relatively independent matchmaking and negotiation platform for exhibitors and participants.
“Multi-forum” refers to more than 10 parallel activities such as smart Xiong’An Summit Forum. A group of academicians, experts and leading figures will conduct dialogue and exchange on hot topics such as intelligent Xiong'an, 5G/ Internet of everything, industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing, new generation artificial intelligence, big data + cloud computing and other hot topics, so as to lead the development of the industry. At the same time, it will hold a closed door meeting of 100 people’s Congress of China’s digital economy and a summit forum on digital transformation of enterprises to provide suggestions for accelerating the development of digital economy.
“Multi-release” means the release of many authoritative achievements. During the conference, Forbes China, China Institute of Information and Communications, China Institute of Electronic Information Industry Development and other units will release more than 10 research results, including the “Forbes Top 100 global digital economy list”, “2019 global digital economy development report”, and “2019 white paper on China’s digital economy index”.
