Accelerating the construction of digital economy in Langfang, Hebei Province
On February 14, Hebei Artificial Intelligence Computing Center, the only Artificial Intelligence Computing Center in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, was unveiled in Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hebei Province. The project will be committed to building a public computing service platform, an application innovation incubation platform, an industrial aggregation development platform, a scientific research innovation and talent platform, and gradually form an artificial intelligence ecological industry cluster to inject new momentum into the development of digital economy in Hebei.
"With Huawei Kunpeng and Shengteng CPU as the technology base, Huawei Baixin has formed the 'Huawei-Baixin' Kunpeng and shengteng eco-technology system." Wang Xianchao, chairman of Baixin Information Technology Co., Ltd., as the representative of the first batch of 10 enterprises (include colleges and universities) settled in Hebei Artificial Intelligence Computing Center, said that this year, Baixin will help Langfang industrial development and enhance the manufacturing capacity of domestic complete machines in Hebei from five aspects: complete machine product production line, new technology R & D center, adaptation center and key industry research and application demonstration base, so as to realize the supplement and strengthening of the ecological industrial chain.
Hebei Artificial Intelligence Computing Center project plans to build 100P computing capacity (equivalent to 500,000 high-performance computers operating at the same time), comprehensively build an independent and controllable computing platform, provide inclusive computing services for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei artificial intelligence enterprises, support the innovation of artificial intelligence enterprises and promote the development of artificial intelligence industry.
On the same day, 23 projects were also started in Langfang Area of the Airport Economic Zone of Beijing Daxing International Airport, with a total investment of more than 20 billion Chinese yuan and a total floor area of more than 667 hectares, injecting new momentum into the goal of building Langfang Airport Economic Zone into a world-class aviation city.
The counterpart of Hebei Airport Group Co., Ltd. told reporters that the biggest feature of this centralized construction project is the comprehensive construction of four platform carriers: metaverse information port, life information technology port, Hangxin intelligent manufacturing port and Xinghang global logistics port, so as to continuously improve the adsorption capacity of Langfang Airport Economic Zone to innovative enterprises in the surrounding areas of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Among them, metaverse information port provides full life-cycle services from enterprise start-up to listing around future industries such as blockchain, virtual reality, 5G, Internet of vehicles, big data and artificial intelligence. By attracting relevant ecological partners of metaverse, we can realize the agglomeration of spillover innovative enterprises in Beijing and form a new generation of information technology industrial cluster.

It will seize the development opportunity of artificial intelligence industry by building Hebei Artificial Intelligence Computing Center, and build a new highland of artificial intelligence industry development and technological innovation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region." Yang Xiaohe, secretary of Langfang municipal Party committee, said that in recent years, the digital economy represented by artificial intelligence has flourished in Langfang. The city will enable industrial clusters with computing power clusters to speed up the construction of digital economy.
At present, in the layout of Langfang big data industry, many industry leading enterprises such as Huawei, Runze and China Unicom have landed, which complement the development of artificial intelligence industry. Enterprises such as SCAI, Jiwei Haowang, iFLYTEK and Zhongke Spatial Information Research Institute have successively settled in Langfang Development Zone, and the industrial ecology has initially taken shape.
